So today I have a product review for you featuring Watermelon Road Fruit Jerky! I actually came across these fruit jerky’s while perusing instagram late at night (as one does lol) and became immediately intrigued. I love dried fruit so I was really curious about the flavor lineup: apple pie, watermelon lemonade, pineapple mojito, and Mango margarita.
And what I really love about these is that they are made with minimal ingredients with no added sweeteners. Plus, they are vegan friendly, gluten free, and paleo friendly.
Full disclaimer, I was sent these for free to review and I found them to be more of a gourmet dried fruit snack given the flavors and price point ($24 for a pack of 4). So maybe not the best option if you’re looking for an affordable snack option. But if you’re a foodie (like me) and you’re looking for a unique product to try then these might be for you!
But let’s just jump right into the review of each one, shall we?
Flavor: These taste exactly as I expected them to taste. Dried apple with the same spices that are associated with apple pie. I can see why they call this a dried fruit jerky because the texture is similar to a jerky. These would make a great pick-me-up snack when you’re out and about and need something to get those blood sugar levels back up. Not sure I would order this flavor again but I do like the texture and convenience of it. And the packaging? Adorable!

Flavor: I LOVED this one! And it had only 2 ingredients – watermelon and lemon juice. Although mine came stuck together, that did not take away from the flavor whatsoever. Had a great balance of sweetness from the watermelon and tartness from the lemon juice. The texture reminded me of fruit leather which I also loved. Would definitely purchase!

flavor: One word – amazing! The sweetness of the pineapple paired wonderfully with the lime and mint. Definitely gave me mojito vibes. Loved this One!

flavor: I had high hopes for this one since mango is one of my all time favorite fruits buuuuut this wasn’t my favorite. which was a bummer because I saved this one for last and was hoping to end on a high note. The mango was really chewy and I just didn’t like the combo of flavors. Especially after the other flavors I tried. Probably wouldn’t try this one again but I would try all the other flavors again.

Nutrition: 90 calories, 0g fat, 15mg sodium, 21g total carbs (2g fiber, 15g sugar), 2g protein
Overall, I liked 3 out of 4 of the flavors and would definitely purchase those. What do you think? Which flavor would you want to try most?
