Ever since I created my 5 minute pumpkin cinnamon rolls and 5 minute pumpkin spice donuts (both of which are some of my most popular recipes), I couldn’t help but experiment some more and make a savory recipe using the same dough.

5 minute Pizza soft pretzels – can be made vegan with dairy free cheese
makes ~3 soft mini pretzels and a couple pretzel poppers
1/2 cup pumpkin purée or baked sweet potato
2 tsp olive oil
3/4- ~1 cup whole wheat flour*
Handful shredded cheese
1 tsp baking powder
*I found I only needed 3/4 cup flour when using pumpkin purée. If you use Sweet potato, start with 3/4 cup and gradually add more flour until your dough is easy to manage. I found I needed a little more than a cup of flour when using sweet potato.
Combine all ingredients except flour. Slowly add flour and mix in until a dough forms. Pinch off pieces of dough and form into a pretzel shape. Any leftover dough roll into a ball for pretzel poppers. Arrange on plate and microwave ~2 minutes. Serve with marinara sauce.
