Bakery inspired overnight oats: Tiramisu and Mocha truffle

So funny story. These themed overnight oat posts I’ve been doing really weren’t planned. I made all of these oats over the course of a couple weeks then grouped them together as I saw fit. So for today, I bring you mocha truffle and tiramius overnight oats; desserts you can eat for breakfast 😉

mocha truffle overnight oats

Mocha Truffle overnight proats – Can be made gluten free with GF oats and protein powder. Can be made dairy free/vegan with dairy free milk, yogurt, protein powder.

Base

– 1/4 cup oats

– 1 tbsp baking cocoa

– 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder of choice (or a couple spoonfulls)

– 1/3 cup water

– 1 tsp instant coffee ground

– optional 1 tbsp cacao nibs/chocolate chips

Topping

– 1/8 cup greek yogurt

– splash milk of choice

– 1 heaping spoonful chocolate protein powder of choice

– optional cacao nibs/chocolate chips

Directions

1) combine ingredients in small bowl to make your base. In a separate bowl combine ingredients to make your topping. Mix really well until smooth and creamy. layer on top of your base. Let chill in fridge overnight. Top with cacao nibs in morning (if using).

And I couldn’t pick just one picture for the tiramisu oats. I thought both were pretty so enjoy two pics.

Tiramisu overnight proats – Can be made gluten free with GF oats. Can be made dairy free/vegan with dairy free milk, yogurt.

Base

– 1/4 cup oats

– 1/3 cup milk of choice

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 tsp chia seeds

–  4 oz water

– 1 tbsp instant coffee grounds

– 1/4 cup greek yogurt

– 1 tsp liquid sweetener of choice

– splash milk of choice

– cinnamon

Directions

1) Combine first 4 ingredients to make your oat base. Layer half off the oats into the bottom of a small bowl, set aside.

2) combine water and coffee grounds and spoon some of your coffee over the top of your oats. set aside.

3) in another bowl, combine your yogurt, milk, and sweetener. mix until smooth and creamy. layer half of this mixture on top of your oat base. layer the rest of your oats, coffee, and yogurt mixture on top of this. sprinkle cinnamon on top. let sit overnight. enjoy in morning.
