Fall favorites: autumn spice spritz cookies

This recipe involves using a spritz cookie max cookie press but I’m sure the spices in this cookie could be added to a regular sugar cookie recipe for the same results.

– 1 cup butter
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 tsp vanilla
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 1/2 tsp nutmeg
– 1/2 tsp allspice
– 1/2 tsp ginger
– 1/4 tsp clove
– 1/8 tsp salt
– 2 1/2 cup flour

1) preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
2) cream vanilla, sugar, butter, egg, spices and salt. Blend in flour.
3) load dough into cookie press and press shapes onto baking sheet.
4) bake cookies 10-14 minutes or until lightly browned.

These are the perfect little fall cookie and, according to my mom, go quite well with a cup of coffee. Also, if using a cookie press, you get a LOT of cookies. I typically share with family and friends when I make this recipe 🙂
