Fall favorites: spiced oatmeal granola bites


These are a great snack and a great way to get some extra fiber (I.e. oats, chia seeds), omega 3 fatty acids (i.e. walnuts, chia seeds), and antioxidants (i.e. almonds, spices) into your diet.

2/3 cup almonds
2/3 cup walnuts
2/3 cup raw oats
1/4 cup agave syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp chia seeds
optional dried cranberries

1) combine everything in a food processor until well mixed.
2) once mixed, get out a small scooper and form small bite sized balls with your mixture and transfer to a freezer safe container. Obviously you can use your hands if you don’t have a scooper.
3) freeze until your bites are firm.
4) Enjoy your new treat 🙂
